Bio

Of Caribbean-American and primarily Afro-Portuguese descent, Mallorie’s culturally diverse background gives her a broad palette for her uniquely expressive approach to life. She has a special knack for combining vivid and vibrant hues and textures to create products that have a beautiful look and feel.

Mallorie learned to knit at a very young age from her late mother, Mazelline. After a long hiatus, Mallorie rekindled her passion for knitting, recognizing its perfect fit with her love for creating beautiful things with her hands. Knitting is just one way she stays connected with her mother, and she founded fortuknit as an avenue to share her passion while continuing the legacy of love her mom instilled in her.

Because everyone deserves…

“a knit of good fortune”
